The City of Clermont

Located in Lake County Florida, the city of Clermont is West of the Orlando area about 20 miles or so. Unlike downtown Orlando, Clermont tends to be more rural with larger lots sizes and believe it or not...hills! Once a sleepy town out side of Walt Disney World, Clermont has grown into a much more mainstream city, while maintaining its country charm.  There is easy access to shopping and dining as well as the historic downtown area, which is enjoying a come back.  There is a new performing arts center and access to the West Orange Trail. Known for it's rolling hills, Clermont will change your beliefs in what you think the Florida landscape is! The views in some location look like they came straight out of a storybook.  Just West of Clermont Is Groveland and slightly North is Minneola, which is expected to be the next area of growth with the new Florida Turnpike interchange. You may have heard on Montverde and Oakland, well they are nearby as well. Finally, if it's lakefront property you are seeking, you won't be disappointed.  Lakes Louisa, Minnehaha and Johns lake are the most well known but there is no shortage of other lakes and ponds to choose from.  It's all of this that attracts people from all over to the City of Clermont!

What can you get in Clermont Florida?

What I personally love about Clermont is that you can choose from a variety of homes and price ranges,  If you like farm hames, they have it.  If you like contemporary, it's there.  You can find homes with 5 acres parcels of land that allow horses as well as some low maintenance communities that do everything but clean your home! There are large estate homes and if you are of the mindset to live the simple life, well you can do that too. If you are looking for an active adult community, you can find several in Clermont. There is quite a bit of new construction going on in the area, so be sure to ask me about opportunities and my new construction experience!
