Homes for Sale in Ocoee FL

Ocoee Florida Realtor

As a Central Florida Realtor, Ocoee is an area I am very familiar with!  I have helped numerous buyers and sellers in the area. It also happens to be where I live!  The Ocoee area is growing at a steady pace and continues to attract new generations of people. The range in pricing varies quite a bit.  Chances are that you can find a great place at a lower cost than some of the more central cities.  Getting started is easy! Ocoee can be found west of Orlando, in fact it borders it.  Looking on a map, you can see that it’s runs primarily North and South.  The northern section is a bit older than the southern section, which borders Windermere, Gotha, and it’s neighbor to the West is Winter Garden.

I moved to Ocoee in 2001.  I had heard of the area but never really explored it much.  Now, I would not want to live anywhere else!  The city, while not large, has a great infrastructure and city planning division that is helping it to grow at a decent, yet controlled pace.  Known as “The Center of Good Living” you will find a wide variety of homes and things to do here.  Ocoee has a long history, with many of the residence having lived here all their lives.  That being said, you can also find new construction, shopping and dining.  The town center is currently located on Starke Lake, which is open to the public and is also the site for the annual Founder Day Festival which takes place in November.

One of the great things about Ocoee is the access to major roadways. The interchanges for the Florida Turnpike and the 429 expressway via highway 50, makes it very easy to get anywhere in Florida!  Some folks may have the impression  that Ocoee if out in the boonies, but most are surprised to find that they can get just about anywhere they need to in the Orlando and surrounding areas within 20 minutes or less.  The Southern part of Ocoee that border Windermere, is about

15 minutes or so away from Disney, in fact you can even see the fireworks in certain locations!  Jump on the turnpike and in about 10 minutes you can be near the Mall at Millennia.  There is nearby shopping in the Winter Garden Village AKA Fowlers Grove, along with numerous dining opportunities.  For the locals, a favorite hang out for lunch and dinner is RusTeak!

If this sounds like a place you would like to explore, I’d be happy to take you on a tour!  There are several gated communities so you will need a guide to get you in!  I love to talk about my city!  Give me a call at 407-948-8295 or use the contact form above to send a message!
