Winter Garden is one of the fastest growing areas in Central Florida. The growth rate, while fast, is also very controlled. What you will find unique about this city is the respect for the history and focus on quality of life. The image to the left is part of the historic downtown area. It’s an area most people miss unless they are directed there. Over the years there has been a huge amount of renovation in the downtown area. Here you will find brick paved streets, one of a kind shops and eateries and even a historic theater, renovated and now playing some amazing live theater productions. Running through the center of it all is the West Orange trail. The trail runs through multiple cities but rarely like it does through downtown Winter Garden.

At any given time you will find a food or music festival going on or maybe a movie night in the theater. There is an amazing farmers market every Saturday and certainly not to be missed. With all this, there is still an even larger section of Winter Garden that backs up and borders Disney World. Similar to Clermont in some ways, Winter Garden has some great planned communities as well as some huge parcels of land that allow farm animals. If you like gated communities, you will find them. Lakefront? No problem. There are communities that look like they were plucked right out of a 1950’s tv show to some of the most modern and “green” communities designed.
Winter Garden is a city you definitely want to take time to get to know before you land in one location. I tend to add extra time to my day to allow ample time for buyers to get to know the area. As for selling, you need to make sure you have an agent that truly understands the area and knows how to properly market the area both in person and online. Property values can fluctuate quite a bit in the area, so make sure your agent does more than just go with a Zillow Zestimate! I have sold numerous homes, both new and existing in Winter Garden and would be happy to help you find your next place to call home!
